Bummer

After arriving at the hotel we had a wait as we were put into our rooms. After we got rooms we headed to the National Mall, because of the wait at the hotel, we did not have much time. We headed to dinner at Vie de France and were on our way to view the WWII Memorial, but a Thunderstorm forced us to call it a night (lightning and the Mall are not a good mix). So it was back to the hotel where the students got a little downtime, and hopefully some rest.

Tomorrow the plan is for a tour with the walk on guides, Arlington, the Jefferson and FDR Memorial, then a tour of the Capitol, Dinner, then the monuments after dark...at least that is the plan....we will see.
